I swear I have a fabric addition. I only get the urge to sew anything in periodic spurts, but I can’t resist getting pretty prints. Especially not when they’re dirt cheap! This stack (multipy by 4x) cost me all of AUD10 from work. The dress department was clearing out their samples 2 weeks ago, and it was $10 to fill a bag.
I’d managed to grab a lot of pretty prints because most of my colleagues were looking out for stuff suitable for actual human sized accessories/clothing. Quilting samples like shown in the photo weren’t as popuplar, so I had a field day picking out lovely samples with prints small enough for some gorgeous doll clothes!

He’s been home since Tuesday, and I’m still in awe of his beauty. Minoru World has done an exceptional job with his faceup, and the Jerome sculpt is even more amazing in real life.
He was nameless for a few days, but he has finally confided in me that his name is Esau (Ee-sah) . Not quite 13, he’s my little punk/goth boy who also has a gentler side which he likes to keep secret.
Both Germaine and my 1st bjd (a mini size Dollzone Xi) have been rehomed to pay for and make way for this boy. I have always loved Bluefairy’s sculpt (especially Jerome), but wanted a beauty white skin doll, which wasn’t available for Jerome before now (BF only has Misty Rose and Beauty white dolls as limited releases). I paid for him on Wednesday, and he was shipped yesterday, so he will be home this week! *happy spaz*

Cricket’s twin brother, Scout, arrived on Thursday (30th August), and I did his faceup that evening, and also redid Cricket’s to better match his colouring.
I think this wig is perfect for him, but I am not 100% satisfied with Cricket’s. It makes her head look a bit too boofy. :3 I have another 5 wigs on the way, so hopefully one of them will be the right one for her.
I think Cricket and Scout compliment each other well, don’t you?
