I know some people have pretty strong opinions about keeping a original Kenner Blythe as untouched as possible, and only restore what is essential. I respect that, and agree that restoration only where needed.
Over the weekend though, I’ve given my first Kenner a haircut. :3 It wasn’t necessary, but she did have frizzy/melted hair at the tips, so I thought she would look cute with a shorter hairstyle. So far, people’s reactions have been positive, so I haven’t had the need to fend off any nasties.
And to top it off, I think I did a good job on the cut, and it makes her look kawaii! ^__^

Charlie was the last Blythe doll that came to live with me, and that was back in June 2007. Since then, I haven’t been interested in buying any more Blythes. For some reason, the new releases don’t really appeal to me?
Charlie is best friends with Catie and I’m so happy to be able to adopt her from a friend in Singapore. Charlie’s wearing part of the stock outfit of Star Dancer Takara Blythe in this photo.

Firstly, a very happy 2008 to everyone out there! I hope that this year will bring you all happiness, health and success. ^___^
I spent the last two weekends rearranging and spring-cleaning my room. Because in the last few months, there have been quite a few new dolls arriving, and also because I have been buying fabrics and doll clothes and accessories, I was running out of space to keep things in the old way my things were arraged. So I cleared out things I didn’t need, and rearranged furniture (and bought the new cabinet to keep my fabrics) for a fresh start to the new year.
I like how my room looks now – it’s very bright and cheery, and I feel happy when I’m in my own personal space, surrounded by the things I love.
